Why yellow Chinese thinks brown Indians do well with Gold

Yellow and yellow doesn't match while brown and yellow reflects the beauty in yellow and that's the major reason behind India's gold success, thinks many common Chinese.
Last year, a Chinese media said it is the black skin of Indians that highlights gold very well and exaggerated that almost all Indian girls have a gold nail in their nose.
In fact it's a well known fact that the yellow Chinese and the Caucassians (whites) wear little gold till a couple of decades ago because they know they can't do justice to that metal but the trend changed and they're also began wearing gold jewelleries but still without doing any justice to gold.
Traditionally,Chinese women too accumulate lots of gold especially jewellery but occassionally wears them even at functions, so is the case with the Caucasians. They prefer platinum and silver with diamonds.
However, many gold 'experts' from abroad especially Chinese, thought it is the color of their skin that helped Indians to remain on top of the gold chart for a long long time.
Although it's a fact that majority of Indians have brown skin which best suits gold and that's one of the reasons for the affection of Indian people towards gold jewellery.
However, it is not the color factor that alone drives India's gold craze. For Indians, gold is the ultimate love object that not only adorn their bodies but it also acts as a good investment.
It is also ancestral as it pass from mother to daughter to granddaughter and father to son to grandson. gold has a tendency of getting passed down from generation to generation.India is estimated to hold more than 11,000 tonnes of gold.
So for Indians at least, gold will never lose its sheen. In fact the mentality of majority of Indians is so possessive for gold that it will be sold as a last resort only and before that most of the other assets will be liquidated.
Even the mighty British find it difficult to seperate the Indians with gold. As with most old civilizations traditions are very strong in the Indian society with a culture which is a heterogeneous mixture of different sub-cultures, communities, customs, food and dress habits, but the love of gold is universal across the length and breadth of the country.
Experts from the gold industry often jokingly refer Gold as the only item that unites Indians as it permeates every strata and class of the Indian society.
Gold is equally sought by a wealthy urban businessman or a poor farmer in a village in the country.Indians see the metal as a symbol of purity, prosperity and good fortune.
For most people in the West, gold is best suited for trading as it is the most fluctuated commodity and is also rare, but for Indians it is an integral part of their culture and their skin color has nothing to do with it.
